Thank You for a Wonderful Gumnut Fair

This year’s Gumnut Fair was our most successful yet, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it possible. With 800 visitors, were thrilled to welcome so many new and familiar faces to Nutcote.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, we were able to offer an unforgettable experience for all who attended. Over 110 house tours were given, showcasing the rich history of May Gibbs’ home and studio. In the tearoom, our volunteers served up over 150 scones, 60 cupcakes, 40 slices of cake, and 25 sandwiches, keeping everyone fuelled and satisfied throughout the day.

Our outdoor stalls, including the Prize Wheel, Bake Sale, Plant Sale, Raffle, and Samples Sale, were a huge hit, while 70 children had their faces painted, and many others enjoyed Storytime and colouring in the backyard.

Our 2024 lead sponsor, Belle Property Neutral Bay, cooked up over 200 sausages at the sizzling sausage sizzle, and our Gift Shop had a record-breaking day.
